For cold use, place your THERMAX® product in the freezer for at lease 1–2 hours prior use. The product can be stored in the freezer at all times.
For heat, microwave the product around 45 seconds, followed by 20-second increments if needed. Always follow the specific product instructions.

THERMAX® products typically stay very cold for approximately 10 minutes before gradually warming toward room temperature. When heated, they provide warmth that progressively fades over time. Duration may vary depending on the product and conditions.

This thermax sleeve is great, specifically the ones I bought was for my elbows/forearms. Takes a few times to get it to as cold/hot as desired but once you have that down, it really helps!
I have used lots of different hot/cold packs. I like this brand the best. These Optimalax sleeves are form fitting and do an excellent job of covering the whole area with heat or cold. IMHO, these are superior to any others I’ve seen or used.
